Target Cards Hacked! - If you’ve shopped at a Target store in the past month or so and used a debit/ credit card you may need to check your bank account. The company reported yesterday that hackers got a hold of their system and the accounts of more than 40 million customers may have been compromised. The breach is believed to have started the day after Thanksgiving and continued until last Sunday. Security officials say the type of information stolen includes names, card numbers, expiration dates and security codes that could lead to the hackers making purchases anywhere in the world. The Secret Service is investigating the breach and Target is expected to have to spend close to $100 million in legal and correctional costs. Target’s CEO said, “Target’s first priority is preserving the trust of our guests and we have moved swiftly to address this issue, so guests can shop with confidence. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. We take this matter very seriously and are working with law enforcement to bring those responsible to justice.”If you suspect you are a victim of the data breach you are advised to call 866-852-8680.

Mac Book Pro - Apple’s newest high end product the ‘Mac Pro’ went on sale yesterday. The new desktop is a black, aluminum, cylinder desktop that’s about 10 inches tall. It has 12-gigabytes of RAM, and dual AMD FirePro D300 graphics processors each paired with their own 2-gigabytes of VRAM. The new product starts off at $3000 and depending on custom modifications could set buyers back about $12K. The pro was Apple’s response to analysts who said that Samsung and Google were coming out with “fresher ideas”.

Duck Dynasty Actors’ Racist Comments - Phil Robertson, of the popular series Duck Dynasty, made some questionable remarks during his recent interview with GQ magazine. In addition to his seemingly homophobic remarks he also suggested that African Americans were “happy” before the Civil Rights Movement. After calling homosexuality a “sin” he said, “I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I'm with the blacks, because we're white trash. We're going across the field.... They're singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people'—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.” Human Rights groups and the NAACP have teamed up and written letter to A&E to express their disappointment with the remarks. Robertson has been suspended indefinitely from the show but reports say that A&E has been aware of his anti-gay stance for some time now.

Subway Bread For The Fatboys/ Fatgirls - Isn’t Subway is suppose to be the healthy fast food place? Then what the hell is this?  Starting on January 1st Subway will start offering a Jalapeño cheese bread. To pair up with their new Sriracha sauce they wanted to add another spicy option. The baking specialist for the company said “Everybody is crazy for big heat and big flavors.” The bread will initially be on the menu for 6-8 weeks and depending on sales could be added to their 9 other bread flavors.

Drake Covers Vibe - Drake is covering Vibe magazine’s newest ‘race issue’. It’s his second time on the album.During the interview he talks about the shade that’s thrown on him for the style and content of his music. He said “Man, how come this guy is allowed to do this? How come this guy is allowed to talk about the streets? All he did was be around it, just like me. He didn't live it, but he's allowed to talk about it. How come this guy is allowed to make girl records—love records—but they're not girl records or love records when he does it?” I just have to step back, because it doesn't matter what those guys do. Whoever that is, it just doesn't matter. They're not important enough to be scrutinized like that. So it's that feeling of accepting that I'm at the top and I don't give them enough to talk about, so they have to make sh*t. No one ever loves that guy that's on top.” They also asked if his song “The Language” is a response to Kendrick’s “Control” verse and Drizzy said, "I don’t ever want to get into responses. It’s a commitment to go there. 'The Language' is just energy. What it was inspired by, I’m sure that, and other things. Drake admits that he is tired of talking about the Kendrick issue, saying, "Hopefully it’s the last time I gotta talk about this, ’cause every time I open my mouth up about it, they take this piece and take this piece. And he’s hungry, so he’s going to do what he has to do like the BET [cypher]. But again, it’s not enough for me to go. He said, we haven’t seen each other [since the BET cypher] but I’m sure we’ll see each other and it’ll be cool. And if it’s not, then I guess that’s how our story unfolds." He also said his only competition is Kanye. Ouch! Stands will hit shelves in January.

New H&M - A new H&M is opening up in Upper Darby just in time for your last minute holiday shopping. People waited in long lines enjoying snacks and drinks and winning gift cards work $10-$300. On top of that if you brought in some old clothes to donate you could get even more discounts. H&M’s spokeswoman said, “We thought what better way to help our consumers get rid of the garments they can no longer use and we take them and recycle them and when you bring a bag of garments, you get a coupon for 15-percent off an item on your next purchase.”

Nelson Mandela Mistaken For Who? - A billboard in India that mourns the death of Nelson Mandela doesn’t display Nelson. It has a picture of Morgan Freeman. The billboard is believed to be from Chennai, South India. Mandela passed away on December 5th and was portrayed by Freeman in the 2009 film Invictus.
